THINK ABOUT YOU - Seth Sutch

I turned 30 in January and unfortunately, life doesn’t stop. Nothing stops.

I heard the saying “Make time for pleasure in life ‘cause pain will make time for itself” and it’s made me slow down to appreciate the little things in life more. Breaks are important. Naps are important. Silence is important. Taking time away is important. We aren’t meant to live in a constant rat race.

My body got me lovin’ but my conscious tell me turn my face…

A full calendar year after his last release, Seth Sutch is back with a new visual for his song “THINK ABOUT YOU.”

With bouncy, new-age hip-hop production from Geekinz and writing/engineering by Raad Alsayegh, Seth pens a heartfelt letter to his lover — reflecting on all the feelings they bring out in him, for better or worse. The track begins slowly, but as the beat picks up, so does Seth’s emotional intensity. His first verse explores the depths of his love and commitment, while the second takes a more introspective turn — asking, “Who am I?” and touching on how far he’s come and what he’s willing to sacrifice for love.

One of Seth’s biggest strengths has always been his ability to crescendo and decrescendo—guiding the listener through emotional highs and lows. A standout moment is when layered background vocals enter after the first verse, like a choir of Seths lifting the emotion without ever overwhelming it. Seth has always had a sharp pen and commanding delivery, but it’s the additions like this that showcase his growth—both sonically and artistically. He’s leaning into his instincts, and that trust in his own direction is starting to shine.

As I’m writing this, I went back to the last track I highlighted — “misunderstood.” — back in October 2023, and it’s clear this isn’t the same dude. From his writing to his swagger to his appearance — life’s different now. A year or two can change everything.
